I need to print something like this. I go to a school where there’s about 2% of native youths, yet 99% of the school wears tacky cheap store bought mocassins and ‘tribe’ patterned everything..I have no doubt there will be more than 30 people dressing as a “native princess” for halloween and it bothers me. Just last week there was a group of girls in the hallway (wearing mocassins of course) screaming from the top of their lungs and covering their mouth to make ‘war cries’ calling it a pow wow and it angered me how ignorant they can be..I don’t know what to do. There is a FNMI (First Nations Metis Inuit) meeting eveery month but even then there’s more white kids than natives claiming their grandmother lives on a reservation or something of that sort. How could I bring attention to the school all these offensive actions and such? I DONT KNOWWWWw
